Hello Sydney! We’re setting up shop

Strategic expansion is something we’ve helped countless clients achieve over our nearly 30 years in operation. So, it’s with great excitement that we announce a growth story of our own.

2021 will see Rowland formally expand our independent, full-service corporate communication, digital, creative and training offering into Sydney, with the appointment of former Marketing Director for General Electric (GE), Emma Rugge-Price as Strategic Advisor to help launch the Rowland offering to the New South Wales market.

Part of our growth strategy, our team of more than 30 Brisbane-based consultants will expand our market-leading service areas in digital, data, corporate communication and issues management in key sectors including infrastructure, government, resources, energy, professional services, agribusiness, education, health and aged care to better service fundamental players in the Australian business-scape.

Leading the charge down south, Rowland’s new Strategic Advisor Emma Rugge-Price has more than 25 years’ experience working in global technology and diversified business, most notably joining GE as Head of Marketing and Communications where she spent 14 years overseeing the growth of the prominent brand across key industry sectors in the region.

Since branching out on her own, Emma has advised national not-for-profits, global brands and technology start-ups in commercial development, brand strategy and market positioning, with a focus on measurable impact and strategy development.

Emma’s appointment will help Rowland leverage the depth and breadth of Sydney’s domestic and international markets — a landscape we’ve had links into since our company’s inception — allowing Rowland to tap into rich markets and support a new wave of clients in building sustainable organisational, corporate and commercial value through communication.

Cementing our D+D offering

With brand, reputation, digital, engagement, campaign and communication services under the one roof, our focus will remain the same — to bring strategic communication services, underpinned by digital and data, to world-class organisations to drive outcomes which are traceable to the bottom line.

Having always delivered evidence-based outcomes and tangible evaluation for our clients, our team has pioneered the implementation of ground-breaking digital platforms for over a decade, including aggregated newsfeed apps, sentiment analysis reporting to better measure public sentiment towards brands and organisations, and platform analytics such as our proprietary software StreetSmart — something we plan to continue and expand upon as Rowland continues to evolve.

We’re now harnessing big data like never before, but importantly, we believe it is imperative that agencies put this data into context, giving us a unique footing in the southern market.

For 30 years, our people have provided unparalleled service for our clients, and we’re committed to doing the same for many others in Sydney — a market saturated with opportunities for strategic communication growth.

When brand and reputation are the most important levers you can pull to achieve your objectives, or the assets you most need to strengthen, Rowland is in your corner to build, protect and transform.
