Planning is now underway for A Winter’s Tale, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust (LMCT) Gala Ball on 1 August 2015, and Rowland is once again proud to assist the LMCT with this major fundraiser.

For more than 50 years, the LMCT has supported and improved the wellbeing of the most marginalised, vulnerable members of the Brisbane community. Every dollar donated to the trust is re-given to a wide variety of charities working hard to provide vital community services and to address pressing social needs, including homelessness, disability, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction, trauma, abuse, and neglect.

Organisers of the LMCT Gala Ball hope to exceed last year’s fundraising efforts, which saw more than $100,000 raised at the event. Funds will go via grants to many charities working in the Brisbane area.

One charity to receive the support of the LMCT is Foundation H. The LMCT has donated $250,000 to Foundation H’s Mitchelton Housing Project for the design and construction of four homes for 16 residents living with disabilities. These new, modern homes will provide a safe, comfortable, independent lifestyle for residents, while also catering to a range of disabilities and providing access to skills programs and social activities at Foundation H’s Mitchelton Hub.

As a proud supporter of the LMCT, Rowland is assisting the trust with communication, promotion, creative services, and media relations for A Winter’s Tale. The ball is sure to be a night to remember!
