Geoff Rodgers, Chairman of Rowland, one of Australia’s largest corporate communication firms, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Public Affairs Asia Gold Standard Award for Professional Excellence.

The Gold Standard Awards are the leading award recognising excellence in public affairs and corporate communication in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr Rodgers founded Rowland in 1992 and it has since grown to become Australia’s only full service public affairs and corporate communication firm with almost 90 staff.

He was last month named the Brisbane Lord Mayor’s 2012 Business Person of the Year.

He is the only Australian shortlisted for the Professional Excellence Award, which is the most prestigious of The Gold Standard Awards.

The winner will be announced on 6 December 2012 in Hong Kong.
