Rowland was recently recognised for exceptional client work at the Public Relations Institute of Australia’s (PRIA) national awards. The awards, which were announced at the World Public Relations Forum held in Melbourne on 19 November, recognise campaign best practice at a national level.

No other agency received more national awards at the event.

Four Rowland client projects progressed to the national awards following success in the PRIA’s State Awards for excellence earlier this year. Rowland received national industry recognition for the following projects:

  • Winner – Investor Relations category
  • Joint Winner – Public Affairs category
  • Highly Commended – Issues Management and Recovery Communication
  • Commended – Community Relations.

Held every two years, the forum brings the world’s leading communicators together to present new methods and research, and ideas in the field of professional communication.

Rowland Managing Director Helen Besly credited the national acknowledgement to the collaborative approach Rowland takes to working with clients, and the exceptional skills and experience of its project teams.

“We always strive to achieve the best results for our clients, and to receive such endorsement from our peers for the quality of our work is an outstanding achievement. These awards showcase the dedication and talent of our project teams,” said Helen.

“Rowland has an extensive client base in a range of industries and understands the challenges businesses face. We bring together some of Australia’s leading practitioners in a range of fields to help organisations manage communication as well as relationships inside and outside their organisation to support business success.

“This national recognition further positions Rowland as a leading communication and business advisory consultancy,” she said.

Established as a one-person operation by Chairman Geoff Rodgers in 1992, this year Rowland celebrates 20 years of operation. With approximately 90 employees, Rowland is a multi-service strategic communication and business advisory consultancy servicing clients in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
