On Friday, 19 September 2014 at the Queensland Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) annual awards dinner, Rowland Senior Consultant Rebecca Schrauf was named Emerging PR Practitioner of the Year.

A Public Relations and Marketing graduate from QUT, Rebecca joined Rowland in 2011 and the award recognises her outstanding contribution to the company, her clients, and the PR industry as a whole.

Having worked across a range of sectors during the past three years, Bec’s strong writing and analytical skills have seen her work with a range of businesses and client teams, adding value to business outcomes as a result.

Rowland Managing Director Helen Besly said the accolade was testament to Bec’s hard work and her colleagues were proud of her achievements.

“Bec is an outstanding communicator with excellent writing skills and media relations (both traditional and digital) expertise. She is an extraordinary young practitioner with a rare combination of technical excellence and emotional intelligence. She has a bright future in our industry and will make an outstanding contribution to public relations practice,” Helen said.
