For Devine and Leighton Properties, an identity was needed to evoke an exciting, sophisticated and contemporary mood for Hamilton Harbour.

 

The wordmark was created with strong, simple, blunt edges reminiscent of slab architecture and Bauhaus design, creating a fitting brand for the Hamilton Harbour development. A unique, circular marque was used for the ‘o’ of ‘Hamilton’, symbolising the various elements of the development coming together as one unified precinct.

 

The brand was further extended with a fluid, modular pattern created from the broken circles that comprise the typography, representing the sparkling river bathed in late afternoon light, adding another layer of visual appeal to the brand.
