Over a period of 18 months, Rowland worked as an integral part of the program team on both design and delivery, including intensive interaction with the executive team and government stakeholders, and close liaison with the TAFE regions.
TAFE Queensland recognised the essential role a robust, comprehensive communication strategy would play in the program’s success, and engaged Rowland to tailor-make a strategic change communication framework for both internal and external stakeholders.
TAFE Queensland is the largest and most experienced provider of further education and training in the state. In response to the Queensland Government’s Skills and Training Taskforce Review in 2012, the organisation established itself as an independent statutory body on 1 July 2013.
