THE PIMPED PAV

Even Santa’s salivating for this Pimped Pav recipe!

 

INGREDIENTS

1 Pavlova Magic
Enough caster sugar to fill to the top of the plastic egg
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (unsweetened)
OR 2 tablespoons cacao
OR 1 tablespoon cocoa + 2 teaspoons instant coffee powder (for mocha effect)
Whipped cream
Vanilla
Dark chocolate curls
Berries

METHOD

Step 1:
Follow the Pavlova Magic mixing instructions

Step 2:
Once meringue has stiff peaks, gently mix in vanilla paste and cocoa powder (or cacao or cocoa + coffee). Continue to follow Pavlova Magic instructions

Step 3:
Mix vanilla paste into whipped cream

Step 4:
Top meringue with whipped cream, dark chocolate curls and berries.

CREATE A CAKE VERSION

Step 1:
Create a meringue cake by splitting the pav mixture in two and filling with the cream mix, instead of topping

Step 2:
Drizzle the top layer with dark chocolate and berries.
