Pip McConnel-Oats has more than 18 years’ design experience specialising in brand identity and brand management, corporate and financial reporting, and publication design for national and multi-national organisations in the mining, retail, utilities, property, and professional services sectors.

In 2002, Pip established Lumino, one of Brisbane’s best known and highly awarded brand consultancies. In May 2012, Pip merged her studio with Rowland, bringing with her a team of highly qualified and experienced designers specialising in brand identity and implementation.

Pip is passionate about creating, reviving, and nurturing brands and has developed many brands for a diverse range of clients across a broad range of industry sectors.

From brand management and strategic direction to tactical marketing communications across multiple channels, Pip approaches every project from a brand perspective to ensure her clients’ businesses shine in the best possible light. She is also a respected speaker on branding and regularly conducts brand seminars for start-up enterprises.

At Rowland, Pip has worked on numerous brand strategy and implementation projects, has overseen more than 40 corporate and financial reports, and leads a multi-disciplinary team of design, digital, and multi-media professionals.

Pip’s continued success and that of the team is founded on their innovative ideas, a sound structure and project methodology, and fastidious attention to detail inherent in their creative processes.
