Rob Lovegrove is the Head of Rowland’s Digital and Innovation team and has more than 17 years’ experience in international marketing communication and advertising industries.
Prior to joining Rowland in May 2005, Rob led the public relations department of a respected full-service communication agency and was responsible for all client strategic communication programs.
Since joining Rowland, Rob has worked on many household names and Government clients, including McDonald’s, Vodafone, 7Eleven, Queensland State Archives, and QR National, helping to deliver award-winning programs in the process.
His experience in the Australian media landscape has transcended both traditional print and broadcast to online and digital mediums. As a result, Rob takes a proactive approach to integrating traditional media and marketing campaigns with innovative advertising and digital solutions.
An avid digital researcher, Rob has led Rowland’s digital division since June 2009. In this role, Rob has spoken at industry seminars and guest lectured on the role digital communication plays in the Australian information landscape.
Rob oversees all Rowland client digital requirements from website creation, web copy writing, Search Engine Optimisation, Search Engine Marketing, and mobile app development.
His creative approach to communication also plays a role in community relations projects and has seen Rob oversee both state and national Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs for his clients, resulting in improved, measurable business outcomes for clients. His work on an annual national CSR program brought him both a state and national PRIA award and AMI recognition.
